Homes For Heroes welcomes new affiliate partner - Keller Williams Realty

Homes For Heroes ® offers large savings to local heroes when buying or selling a home in Gwinnett, Hall and Jackson county.

Dacula, GA. - With the busy Spring housing market underway, Homes for Heroes® is gearing up to serve as many Heroes as possible in Gwinnett, Jackson, Barrow, Hall and the surrounding counties. Homes for Heroes aims to help close the gap between the cost of housing and buyers in the following groups: military personnel, police officers, firefighters, teachers, first responders and others who serve our community and nation.

The Heroes are provided a large credit back to them when they use a local affiliate real estate professional to assist them in the purchase or sale of real estate. This could save the Hero thousands in sales commission and provide a large credit when purchasing a home.

Matt Hermes of Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners has recently been designated as the exclusive local affiliate for the Homes For Heroes program. Hermes & Associates is ranked as one of the top real estate teams within Keller Williams Southeast and recently KW was recognized for being the largest real estate company in the nation.

“Offering this well deserved discount to our local Heroes is a great opportunity for Hermes & Associates to give back to those who deserve our recognition and support” Matt Hermes responded when asked about the Homes For Heroes program.  "We are honored to provide a portion of our commissions back to the Hero in order to assist them in the purchase or sale of their homes”.

Homes for Heroes, is celebrating its 12th year of bringing big savings to everyday heroes. Inspired by the hometown heroes who serve and protect their communities and our country. This collaboration of real estate professionals’ sole purpose is to offer savings when buying or selling a home.

Police Officer and soldier, Katie Blackwell, and spokesperson for Homes for Heroes, returned from serving, along side her husband Steve, in Iraq with the National Guard. Through her efforts in distributing information about the program to fellow soldiers, Homes for Heroes has been able to assist soldiers returning home, matching them to enthusiastic real estate affiliates eager to support our troops by way of great benefits offered by the program.

Ruth Johnson is one of the founding members who started Homes For Heroes, Inc. in 2001."We all share an admiration for the people who serve our community and our nation selflessly and wanted to recognize and show our appreciation in a meanigful way," said Johnson.

With over 600 affiliates in 43 states, Homes For Heroes is the Nation’s Largest Hero Savings Program.

If I could sell my home sold for $___________ I would move today

If I could sell my home sold for $___________ I would move today.

Have you seen this type of post floating around the internet, particularly Facebook asking the question of if you could sell your home for a dollar amount of your choosing you would do it?

Instead of merely reading and brushing off this I would ask you to take a serious look at this question and get back to me with your answer. There is a HUGE lack of available inventory currently for sale in and around Atlanta and right now may just be the right time to sell your home.

Why? Well with inventory down over 30% from this time last year and the stall in the foreclosure market, home sellers are actually in a pretty good situation if they would consider selling sooner rather than later.  One of the main reasons this is the case is that the home construction is not currently a huge market for Buyers to look at.

New home builders are starting to build inventory but they are for the most part four to six months out from a large amount of available inventory. The new home pricing is now and moving forward is going to be very competitive with resale homes and once inventory catches up, existing home sales may drag a bit.

The Atlanta market has always been a New Home market. We like new, shiny things down here in the South and new homes are no exception. So, if a resale home is competing with a new home at the same price, the chances that the buyers would buy new are pretty high. With little new home inventory, resale homes have a leg up at this point, but time may be running out.

So, let me ask you a question. "If you could sell your home for $_____________ today I would move"

Email me your dollar amount and let me see what I can do for you.

Matt
